Short Summary
Set in the 1970s, Minions: The Rise of Gru follows 12-year-old Gru as he dreams of becoming the world’s greatest supervillain. With help from his loyal Minions (Kevin, Stuart, Bob, and new recruit Otto), Gru auditions for the notorious supervillain group, the Vicious 6. When their leader is ousted, Gru sees his chance to prove himself, leading to chaotic adventures, wild heists, and unexpected friendships.
